Support The Bishop's Ranch:El Rancho del Obispo Endowment FundAre you the kind of person who thinks long term? The man who purchased the Ranch for the benefit of all of us was a person like that. Since Bishop Karl Morgan Block purchased the 63 acres from the White family in 1947, thousands and thousands of people have enjoyed the renewal offered by the peaceful, fertile, inspiring land of The Bishop’s Ranch and the experience of living in Christian community. It is vitally important to keep the Ranch buildings and grounds in excellent shape and protect the now 343 acres entrusted to us. We have found that if our surroundings are obviously well cared for, guests are able to relax and focus on their work of education, renewal, or community building. The El Rancho del Obispo Endowment Fund was developed because it is critical to ensure the long term protection of the Ranch facilities and land. The fund, which contains $242,541 is carefully managed by a special committee to provide annual income for Ranch upkeep. The goal set by the Board of Directors is to increase the Endowment Fund to $1 million. A gift to the fund will help thousands of people over generations to enjoy the gifts of beautiful, peaceful surroundings and the priceless gift of community in a sacred place. Gifts to the fund may be made in many ways to provide tax benefit to the donor:
