Empty Before The World A Lenten Quiet Day
Saturday, February 20, 2010
Fee: $65 per person, including Lunch and Dinner

Lent begins in ashes, moves to Jesus standing in the simple truth of himself, silent before Pilate, and ends in the silence of the tomb. Come to the welcoming space of The Ranch and offer your self to the silence. A day of quiet with contemplative worship.
Presentations offered by Maggie Ross.

Doorways to Silence A Retreat for Clergy & Clergy Spouses
Sunday, March 7 to Tuesday, March 9, 2010

Fee: $215 Double Occ. /$250 Single Occ., per person

An opportunity for quiet, rest, and reflection during the season of Lent. Come alone or with your spouse. Let the grounds of the Ranch offer solace to your interior landscape. We’ll consider the doorways to silence we find in our ordinary days, and how listening to one another, meditation, “hanging out”, paradox and metaphor, and (even) corporate worship can serve as doorways to the silence of the heart.
Days of silence, contemplative worship, opportunities to walk the grounds and presentations offered by Maggie Ross.

The Great Three Days A Contemplative Retreat
Thursday, April 1 to Sunday, April 4, 2010
Fee: One Night - $130; two nights - $250; 3 nights - $370

Move through the Passion with silence. Optional daily offerings will provide a meditative framework to experience the great events of Holy Week. Contemplative worship will include the liturgies of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and The Great Vigil. On Easter Sunday there will be a festive Holy Eucharist. We invite you to participate in this special week for as many days as your time permits; although being able to stay from Maundy Thursday through the Vigil on Saturday night offers the greatest opportunity to journey into the riches of the week.
Facilitators: Maggie Ross and Patricia Moore, Chaplain
Musicians: Kayleen Asbo and Robin O’Brien.

Retreat Days Drinking from the Wellspring of Silence
Monday, May 10 to Tuesday, May 11, 2010
Fee: $140 Double Occ. /$165 Single Occ., per person

The wonder and joy of Easter flow into everyday life from the wellspring of silence.
Let yourself be nourished by the beauty of The Bishop’s Ranch as you enter the silence. There will be time to be still in the midst of nature and an opportunity for prayer, worship, rest, and reflection.
